Hess Is More

By Vince Grzegorek

Published on December 12, 2007

Cleveland artist Derek Hess has been dipping into many creative cookie jars lately. His latest venture is tonight's Every Day's a Holiday sale and exhibit. Hess has created posters for Pantera, Thursday, and Pearl Jam, and his dark and brooding drawings are dynamic enough to stand out on any canvas — even as a tattoo on your left arm. Hess' art has been featured in recent episodes of both TLC's LA Ink and the Food Network's Ace of Cakes. And for tonight only, Hess' posters, prints, and originals will be on sale for foodies, tat fans, and emo buffs alike. The shopping spree runs from 6 to 10 tonight at the Kelly Randall Gallery, 2678 West 14th Street, as part of the Tremont ArtWalk. Call 216-771-7724 or visit www.derekhess.com.
