Sure, 12 years have passed since Chuck Hazlett of Rocky River struck it rich with a $4 million payout from Ohio's Super Lotto drawing. But the 55-year-old retired postal carrier can't pass up a good buy, especially for a mug of beer. Today, Hazlett and his fellow barflies are each shelling out a George Washington for $1 Pitchers of draft brew at Club Argos. "Anywhere else in town, you're paying up to five bucks for the same thing," says Hazlett. "You're a moron if you don't take advantage of this deal." In its second year of business, the sports bar has made tongues wag with its specials — from free billiards specials on Mondays and Saturdays to DJ Freeze's hip-hop nights on Thursdays. But the buck-a-pitcher bargain has started to make Hazlett a club regular. "I have to watch myself," he says. "Too much beer equals too much waist." Get wasted from 3 to 8 p.m. Mondays through Wednesdays and noon to 5 p.m. Saturdays at Club Argos, 2032 West 25th Street. Admission is free. Call 216-781-9191 or visit www.club-argos.com.
